Hello! I’m Becky
Arvin and this is my sweet little family.
I am a Christian, a wife to a wonderful man, a mother to the sweetest 3
year old little boy around, and a teacher librarian. I have a great family and a great job as a
Library Media Specialist in an elementary school in Northern Kentucky. My
husband is a high school football coach and special education teacher. We’ve moved around a little bit with his job which
has given me the opportunity to work in several different positions in several
elementary schools. Now, I’ll admit, when
we were moving from one school to the next in hot pursuit of the perfect
coaching job I am pretty sure I did my fair share of grumbling. In
hindsight, however, it has given me the opportunity to experience a lot of
different grade levels and learn a lot of new teaching strategies. I’ve been a Kindergarten, First, and Second
grade classroom teacher, a Math Intervention Teacher, and I’ve been a Library
Media Specialist for a K-8 and K-5 school.
People often ask me what my favorite grade level is and I can never seem
to find the answer. I have loved them
all in one way or another!
Primary Treasures was born in 2012 when
my husband lost his job and we quickly figured out that we weren’t going to
make it as a one income family. While he
searched for a new teaching position, I started looking for ways to make extra
money. Just a few days later, a colleague showed me a
resource that she had purchased from a website, Teachers Pay Teachers. This is just what I was looking for! I
immediately opened up a store on Teachers Pay Teachers and things took off from
there.
Being a
teacher is all about having a love for learning. Teachers Pay Teachers gives
educators a place to share, learn, and grow in our profession. We all
bring something to the table. You know
that feeling when you find the perfect activity to help your students
understand a new skill? It’s like
finding a hidden treasure and that’s just what you’ll find on Teachers Pay
Teachers….Primary Treasures! I look forward to sharing and learning with
you!

I recently purchased your RTI Monitoring Sheet on TPT. How do I add 1 more column? I'd like to have 6 behavior points. Thanks, Marie Wood mwood@interact.ccsd.net
